The cable part on the Novak and the Advance look almost identical in how they sit and get installed. The Advance part also replaces the shifter inside the jeep and the small lever on the t-case. I just got the one in the 99, it took about 4 hours with wrestling with rusty bolts and crap but all in all a fairly easy install. No more rattle and it shifts like butter and stays in gear !! Place the transfer case in 4lo, connect the shifting cable and adjust it from either end until the stud reaches the center of the shifter mounting point, on mine there was about a 1/2" gap at the console when in 4lo.
