You could play normally for a few minutes, then it freezes for like 3-4 seconds. That's what it fixes. For stutter, or microstutter, sounds more like spyware on your computer, or graphics settings. Game runs smoothly for me now.

They went for a more realistic style of movement so the character is a bit sluggish when strafing and stuff like that.
